Day 1:
Happiness is a thing. Happiness is reachable but in another way than money. Even though happiness is a different thing than most reachable things, there are various things you can do to reach this happiness. For instance, it’s in the things you let go. Happiness will increase when you just remove the negative things and people out of your life.
Day 2:
Reaching happiness may be considered to be hard. A thing you might need to think about, is when happiness is reached. It’s just like wealth. When is wealth reached? The difference is that wealth can be defined with a specific value. Happiness is not measurable. Happiness is also not an amount. You have it, or you don’t. But if you don’t, you can still get it though.
Day 3:
How will happiness change your life? What do you expect about being happy? It might give you a better temper, make your more social or enables you to concentrate better. It is good to write down your expectations about your new, happier life. Also, you can discuss your expectations with family members or friends. Talking about the effects of happiness might give you a more realistic image of happiness.
Day 4:
What can you do make your life happier? As I already said, it is good to remove all negativity out of your life and make more space for positive vibes. Making new friends can also contribute to a happier life. If you’re having trouble with making friends, just go to the pub and take some shots (but not to much). Alcohol can perform miracles. If you’d rather sit back home on your couch, you can try some apps where you can meet people. But remember, not everyone necessarily needs a friend to experience happiness. Happiness is for everyone different, and that does not matter. Do what feels good to you and follow your heart.
Day 5:
How long will it take to become happier? That question is good to ask yourself. How long do you think it will take to become happier? You don’t have control over it and there’s no switch-button. Don’t expect to reach happiness in a week -yes, the title was clickbait-, but just give it the time.
Day 6:
Evaluate your progress. How far are you on your tour to happiness? What have you been doing to reach happiness? It’s good to make free time for yourself and do something you like. Also remember to just take a rest, not care about everyone’s Instagram pictures and stories. They can easily give you the impression and push you down because their life is so exciting and yours is boring and sad as hell (sarcasm). Also, everyone’s life is boring and sad sometimes, but isn’t that what makes life ironic?
Day 7:
How are you going to leave your past behind? You need some sort of ritual to get psychologically rid of your depressing past. Make a list of negative things that were in your life, and burn the list down. This ritual will remind you forever that you left your past behind, and started a new chapter in your life. A chapter that turns around happiness.
